Other than the three annual inspections, you also might be contacted by the Tax Bureau. It is a routine of tax bureau to do random check on enterprises. Especially those with long time zero tax declaration, or any suspicious data in their tax report. It is not exaggerating, if you missed the call or someone answered give the information that dose not match in the system, there might be serious problems.

There is a “List of Abnormal Business Operation”, once your company name is on the list, there will be serious consequences, such as be requested to move out of the original registration district, or to compulsory cancel the company. Therefore, the legal person of the company will be facing serious inspections by relevant government organizations. As a foreigner living and working and doing business in China, it could be catastrophic.

There are precisely four type of situations that might lead to the “List of Abnormal Business Operation”.
1, the enterprise not report annul report in time.
2, enterprises fail to publish relevant enterprise information within the time limit ordered by the industrial and commercial department.
3, the public information of the enterprises conceals the true situation and falsifies.
4, the company cannot be contacted through the registered residence or business premises.
Situation 4 is the one business owners should be alter even when you have done all the paper work right, by Picking Up the Phone when a LANDLINE calls.
